CAMPSITE RULES

Rules for the use of Certificated Sites

  1. Greener Camping Club Certificated Sites are for the exclusive use of its Members. In order to stay on a Greener Camping Club Certificated Site, at least one member of each occupied camping pitch, or pre- erected unit must hold a valid membership to the Greener Camping Club. Membership runs from 1st January to 31st December each year.

  2. The Greener Camping Club accepts no liability whatsoever for loss or damage to persons or property, arising from the use of its Certificated Sites.

  3. The activities of The Greener Camping Club are guided by The Countryside Code, The Seaside Code and the Marine Conservation Society. Further information is on the website.

Upon Arrival

  1. Earliest arrival time is 3pm, latest time is 9.30pm unless agreed in advance.

  2. The speed limit on Greener Camping Club Certificated Sites is 5 mph.

  3. Members must report to the Site Owner before pitching, or occupying a pre-erected unit and pay any outstanding fees.

  4. Members must produce proof of membership when requested to do so by the Site Owner.

  5. Members may only pitch where directed to by the Site Owner.

  6. For fire and safety reasons, tents  must be pitched so that the outside edge is a minimum of six metres from an adjacent unit (pup tents excepted).

During Your Stay

  1. Members must follow all instructions provided by the Site Owner.

  2. Members must recycle their rubbish and deal with waste water and chemical waste (where permitted) as directed by the Site Owner.

  3. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

  4. Noise must be kept to a reasonable level at all times and there must be no noise or vehicle movement between 10.30pm and 7.30am.

  5. Generators and amplified music are not permitted.

  6. Campfires are to be lit in designated fire pits only, or as directed by the Site Owner. Campfires are not to be left unattended and must always be supervised by a responsible adult.

  7. Camping units are not permitted to be left unattended overnight unless agreed with Site Owner.

  8. If the behaviour of a Member, or that of their children, causes nuisance to other Members, or there is persistent violation of Greener Camping Club Rules herein, the Site Owner is empowered to instruct the Member to cease the behaviour/violation, or leave the site immediately without refund.

  9. Day visitors are not permitted.  

 

Departure Day

  1. Members must vacate their pitch/unit on the day of departure by 10.30 am, unless a later check out time has been agreed.

  2. Vacated pitches/units must be left clear of all personal property, debris and refuse.
